Job description: Senior Business AnalystOur client is searching for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. This team delivers a portfolio of services that are critical to the business operations. A successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and a disciplined approach to improvement.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

  • Create service and product descriptions, including templates, questionnaires and RACI
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and operational teams to identify missing and/or required processes and procedures documentation
  • Participate in Request for Process and Requesting for Information activities, including the documentation of requirements and evaluation of proposals and responses
  • Create Roadmap and Lifecycle materials in support of Infrastructure Services
  • Develop communication materials in support of technology implementation and transformation projects
  • Define service levels, service targets, price and cost in collaboration with managers, business stakeholders and architects
  • Develop the knowledge base and support materials
  • Gain an understanding of the policy, standard and compliance requirements. Developing documentation such as procedures, processes and control grids

Your strengths include:

  • A university degree or equivalent is preferred
  • 5+ years of professional experience in information technology
  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT service provider organization
  • 3+ years of experience developing IT Products and services, with demonstrated ability in applying ITIL best practices
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to build effective working relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliverables at the same time
  • Ability to pick up projects mid-stream, be self-started requiring minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical skills and a disciplined approach to improvement
  • Have a high degree of initiative, thought, leadership, and the ability to work in a collaborative manner
  • Experience in managing, presenting, and conducting customer and internal operational group meetings at all levels of management
  • Experience working with customers and ensuring that providing good customer service is a priority
  • High tolerance for changing priorities
