Job description: Job DescriptionOur client is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant. Reporting directly to the ownership and leadership team, the Senior Accountant will supervise a team of 7 Bookkeepers/Accountants across 3 locations.Job Description:The primary responsibilities of this role include:

• Conducting client meetings to understand their accounting and tax requirements.
• Providing oversight and guidance to a team of bookkeepers and tax preparers.
• Preparation and review of T1, T2, and GST returns.
• Compilation and review of financial statements.
• Collaborating with business owners to enhance their understanding of financial matters such as results analysis, cash flow projections, and capital investments.
• Contributing to business development efforts to expand services for existing clients.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in public practice.
• Client-centric approach with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proven ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Proficiency in Caseware, Sage 50, Quickbooks, Xero, Profile, IFIRM, as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
