We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Parsons is currently seeking an exceptional Senior Construction Contract Administrator to join our team! In this role, you will oversee the contractual aspects of two distinct wastewater projects: a pump station and a tunneling project, with a combined project value exceeding $500 million. Your key responsibilities will include:Financial and Contractual Support: Provide support on financial and contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle.Risk Management: Analyze contract variations, claims, and initiate and review written correspondence related to the program.Guidance: Guide the project team on measurement principles, review interim and final measurements, and finalize the Contractor’s payment certificates.Cost Planning and Control: Assist in evaluating claims, ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements.Record Keeping: Audit payments to Contractors, monitor final cost estimates, and maintain records.Claim Settlements: Review, negotiate, and prepare claim settlements.Monthly Reporting: Prepare financial statements for monthly reports.Collaboration: Work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure thorough and timely contract management practices.Professional Notices: Draft high-quality contractual notices and presentations related to specific contractual topics.Negotiation: Participate as a member of the negotiating team.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience, as well as 10+ years of demonstrable experience all aspects of construction contracts. Preferred candidate will have experience analyzing contract variations and claims, and initiating and reviewing written correspondence for change management on major infrastructure construction projects.SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Requires a working knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, as well as industry practices. Also requires excellent written and oral communication skills, a familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering and construction, and the ability to work independently and self-motivate.Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 75 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
