Job description: We currently have an opening for a Senior Construction Site Representative/Contract Administrator in either our Vancouver, Kelowna or Victoria offices.You will join our vibrant team of Professional Engineers and Technologists on construction projects throughout British Columbia and Western Canada. You will be responsible for providing on site representation and construction services for a variety of projects for a varied client base including the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, Municipalities, and private sector clients.Duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide constructability reviews and other miscellaneous design support
- Assist with the preparation of tender procurement documents
- Evaluate contractor performance to ensure project deliverables and quality standards are achieved
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding project status, site issues and project quality and resolve issues as required
- Assist and support reginal business development initiatives including staffing, RFP/RFQ responses to meet projected department growth
- Management of Quality Assurance and measurements for and the preparation of payment certificates
- Oversee change requests and claims
- Management of responses to Contractor RFI’s and clarification requests
- Complying and working within COR certified environment and performing all duties in accordance with those specified under the Occupational Health & Safety Act and applicable legislation.

- 7+ years in Contract Administration and Site Inspection.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution considered an asset.
- Experience on transportation projects, with specific experience in roadway improvements.
- Experience supervising other staff members
- Familiarity with road construction materials, methods, and process.
- Computer skills including word, excel, PDF/Bluebeam markups and windows applications.
- Willingness to travel throughout the province.
- Valid driver’s license required. This position requires use of personal vehicle in good working order to be used occasionally for business use, for which there is reimbursement.
