Job description: Senior Corporate AccountantOur REIT client is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join their team in Calgary. The successful candidate will play a key role in the internal and external reporting process and monthly close. This position ensures accurate accounting treatment for complex transactions and supports both financial reporting and audit processes.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Support preparation of IFRS financial statements, complex disclosures, and external financial reporting
• Assist with technical accounting research and documentation
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including complex journal entries and reconciliations
• Participate in internal and external audit processes
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on tax planning and compliance projects
• Liaise with FP&A, treasury, property accounting team, operations for accurate financial integration

Your strengths include:

• Chartered Professional Accountant designation
• 4+ years’ experience in corporate or public accounting
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Yardi, or similar).
