Job description: About the Role:Our client, a company in the Insurance sector, is hiring a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Accounting Manager to join their Treasury department on a contract basis.Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Preparation and Review: Accurately prepare and review payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
  • Bank Reconciliations: Conduct thorough reviews of bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records
  • Investment Reports: Review monthly and quarterly investment reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Accounts Payable Issues: Investigate and resolve any accounts payable payment issues, including claims, to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Cash Management: Oversee cash management processes and prepare quarterly cash flow reports to support financial planning and decision-making
  • Tax Payments and Reconciliation: Review tax payments and perform bank reconciliations to ensure compliance and accuracy

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting and overseeing payroll
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
