Our client is looking for a Senior Field Sales Manager to join their team in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities in the market, build relationships with key sales influencers, lead a team to deliver consistent sales results, and continuously look for ways to improve the sales strategyYour success will be defined by your ability to:

  • Take charge of the entire sales journey, spotting opportunities and empowering your team to ‘seal the deal’ with community members
  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-filled relationships that align with the organization’s values and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Motivate and lead a team of Sales professionals, establish strategic objectives, targets and KPIs, provide coaching and development plans.
  • Understand the metrics that support the sales process, and identify opportunities based upon the information.
  • Team up with key stakeholders, influencers, and external partners to boost the company’s presence and reach new heights.
  • Lead teams and initiatives across Canada with events and interactions that generate meaningful relationships with customers and grow subscribership

Your strengths include:

  • A deep understanding of direct sales in Western Canada. You are a seasoned sales veteran, with strong experience in leading event and door-to-door teams (telecommunications experience preferred)
  • An understanding of fiber-optic internet technology, as well technology trends that help businesses connect and evolve.
  • A proven history driving growth and improving results – you know how to identify strengths, and opportunities, and measure success
  • A knowledge of rural and sub-urban communities: how to meet their connectivity needs, and how to explain the value of fiber internet.
  • An appreciation that measuring results is a key pillar in managing sales. You are comfortable looking for insights in metrics, finding opportunities, and sharing your findings with leadership and the team.
  • An open and honest approach to salesmanship
