Job description: Expiry date:2027-08-29Horizon Recruitment Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a large client in the heavy industrial space to take on financial reporting and month-end duties for the organization. This will be an excellent opportunity for someone to work in a stable environment that is well set up for sustainable growth.Responsibilities:As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will work with a small team at the corporate office to consolidate information and prepare the financial statements, maintain the monthly working papers for the financial statements and MD&A, and prepare ad hoc reports for the Controller.Requirements:
- A CPA designation plus 4-5 years of progressive experience
- Experience in an environment with multiple entities/locations/etc.
- Strong analytical skills using Excel
- Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills
- Proven ability to think independently and solve problems
Rewards:
- $90-100k
