The Senior Financial Analyst will support the TELUS Health Finance team and will be responsible for supporting the business in achieving operational goals and solving daily complex business challenges to minimize risks. We value and welcome innovative ideas and invite you to leverage your creativity.Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish togetherAs a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for business partnering with the Chief Information Office (“CIO”) and provide all aspects of finance support including expense and headcount reporting, forecasting, budgeting and ad hoc analyses.This position will work closely with other TELUS Health finance team members through month-end and to drive efficiencies and synergies. You will become a trusted partner across the organization and provide recommendations to achieve Operations goals and objectives.Here’s how
- Support profitability growth through constant reviews of business pertaining to operational efficiencies, resource planning, and cost forecasting
- Complete month end activities including month-end close, analyses, and forecasting
- Design new metrics and prepare reports to monitor forecast accurately and analyze all trends
- Prepare and communicate financial projections and analyses to the Finance and CIO leadership teams by developing effective communication of financial concepts to the audience
- Assisting with business case modeling and procurement assessments, as needed
- Recognize opportunities and provide recommendations for improvement by acting as a business partner
QualificationsYou’re the missing piece of the puzzle
- At least 3 years of finance planning and analysis or audit/financial reporting required
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
- Ability to prioritize, deal with multiple projects at the same time, strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Function with a high level of ownership, accountability, independence and urgency when warranted in handling sensitive deadlines
Great-to-haves
- Working knowledge of SAP, GSuite, Workday, and MS Office and AX
