Job description: Job Description:THE ROLE:Our client requires the support of a Senior Financial Data Analyst for a 6-month term with the potential of further extensions thereafter. This is an exciting project for someone with a strong foundation in accounting and a proven track record of working with extensive data.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data cleansing, conversion, and mapping strategies
- Execute data migration plans, including data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Perform data reconciliation post-migration to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and resolve migration-related issues
- Perform data analysis on large datasets and enterprise systems
- Support various ad hoc projects
ABOUT YOU:You are a seasoned professional with several years’ experience in the field of accounting with a CPA designation. You bring forth a wealth of experience regarding large-scale data migration coupled with a proven track record of working in a mature and reliable professional environment. You are well-versed in working on large ERPs, particularly SAP and possess superior Excel skills, which include the manipulation of large datasets. - CPA Designation or several years’ experience working as an accountant
- Prior experience with large scale data migration
- A proven track record of working in a professional environment, displaying maturity, and reliably
- Prior experience with large ERPs, preferably SAP
- Superior skills in Excel, including manipulating large datasets
- Previous exposure to Mergers and Acquisitions (M& A) will be considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work successfully in a changing and dynamic environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
