Job description: Job Description:Job DescriptionOur Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.Arcadis is searching for a Senior Healthcare Architect/Medical Planner to join its Toronto Healthcare Studio playing a key role in the planning and design of healthcare projects. This opportunity allows professionals to work with collaborative teams throughout various project stages delivering innovative healthcare facilities across Canada as well as USA and internationally.We work with our clients around the world to create, support, and enhance smart, safe and sustainable places where people live, work, learn and thrive. Places impact on the quality of people’s lives. Whether new homes, shops, workplaces, schools and hospitals, manufacturing, research and development facilities, or data and distribution centers. People and communities thrive when the spaces in which they live, work, move and play are designed and managed in a way that best meets their needs.Role Accountabilities:

  • Planning and development of healthcare facilities along with engaging clients and teams
  • Delivering creative solutions for both traditionally procured and P3 procured projects
  • Reviewing clinical planning completed by other team members
  • Working collaboratively with project teams and participating in business development client meetings to facilitate strategic direction for healthcare projects
  • Provide oversight for the design and delivery of project

QualificationsQualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the delivery of healthcare projects
  • Licensed Architect with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree
  • Experience in clinical planning leadership
  • Knowledge of architectural design and code requirements
  • Strong presentation, communication, organizational and team building skills
