Our client, a small, privately-held accounting firm, is seeking a highly experienced public accountant with an entrepreneurial spirit to join their close-knit team. You will lead and mentor a team of accountants working on full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, and taxes for a variety of small to medium-sized companies. Working closely with the partners of the firm, you will be a key player in managing client relationships and growing the business. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of financial regulations, strong leadership skills, business development experience, and a drive to succeed. Main responsibilities include:

• Leading multiple client engagements, monitoring, and reviewing staff’s work and ensuring client needs are addressed and deadlines are met
• Managing and developing new and existing client relationships and maintaining an exemplary level of customer service to help the firm grow its accounting practice
• Providing strategic leadership in the firm’s growth and development
• Being a key advisor to the firm’s partners in identifying areas for process improvement
• Supervising, mentoring, and continually developing staff

• Completed professional accounting designation (CPA, CA)
• LPA certification or ability to obtain in the near future
• 7+ years of public practice experience, some at the Senior Manager level
• Strong leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Interest in AI and the use of technology is an asset
