Job description: Job Description:THE ROLE:Our Client in the Renewable industry, is seeking an Operations Accountant to join their team. This Operations Accountant is responsible for managing the financial operations of their individual business portfolio and providing accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders, which includes budgets, actuals, analysis, and forecasts. This successful candidate will assist in preparing the full month end package, including journal entries, variance analysis and monthly financial reviews, along with reconciling and attesting of all balance sheet and income statement accounts. Consolidation of the Independent Solar Plants, disclosures, along with acting as an auditor, is crucial for this role.ABOUT YOU:You’re a highly skilled and motivated accounting professional with a passion for delivering excellence in financial reporting and analysis. • 5+ years of accounting experience and will be in the process of completing a designation or have completed the designation already
• Experience in joint venture accounting, displaying strong communication, both verbally and in writing, to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
• Advanced technical skills, particularly ERP software (e.g., Oracle) and MS Excel, to streamline and optimize reporting
• A deep understanding of operational accounting principles, particularly in a fast-evolving industry
• Demonstrated ability to manage balances, variances, and reconciliations with sharp attention to detail
• Experience consolidating financial results for complex operations, with a focus on meeting disclosure requirements
• Familiarity with audit processes and a commitment to upholding financial integrity
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience
