Job description: Job Description:Our client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Production Accountant with a strong background in metrics to join their dynamic finance team. As a Senior Production Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of our production operations. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control, with a particular emphasis on leveraging metrics to drive performance improvements and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of production accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Develop and implement effective financial controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Utilize metrics and key performance indicators to analyze production costs, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance
• Collaborate with production teams to monitor and control production budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key metrics and financial performance indicators
• Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and payroll related to production activities

Requirements:The successful Senior Production Accountant will possess the following:

• Previous experience as a Production Accountant
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis and the use of metrics to drive performance improvements
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented, with a high degree of accuracy and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines
