- Reviews journal entries to ensure accurate coding and appropriate supporting documentation
- Strong understanding of allocations and trend analysis
- Experience with property and utility billing; able to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy
- Conducts ad hoc variance analysis (actuals vs. budget), with a focus on identifying key drivers
- Brings a critical and analytical mindset to all reviews and financial analysis
- Oversees account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of data
- No direct reports, but provides guidance and oversight for the team
ABOUT YOU:You’re a highly skilled Senior Accountant with a demonstrated track record of success in financial reporting and time-sensitive project environments. With 10-15 years of hands-on experience, your expertise spans oversight, organization, and ensuring accuracy in financial data. You’re deeply familiar with IFRS standards and have strong financial literacy, enabling you to analyze operational drivers and deliver valuable insights. Known for your time management and organizational abilities, you excel at meeting deadlines and keeping teams on track during critical processes like month-end close. Your proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, supports efficient data analysis and reporting.
