Job description: Job Description:THE ROLE:Our midstream client is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant for a 6-month contract. This Revenue Accountant will primarily assist with review and informal coaching, allowing Leadership more time to focus on the team’s development and championing continuous improvement/streamlining of accounting processes. The preferred candidate will be expected to “hit the ground running” and have a good working knowledge of IFRS.ABOUT YOU:As a Senior Revenue Accountant with a profound expertise in review, your leadership style allows for the continuous development and improvement of accounting processes. Your demonstrated senior-level accounting knowledge is backed by your informal leadership experience. You are a detail-oriented, motivated self-starter who works extremely well independently and doesn’t hesitate to use resources at your disposal to gain deeper understanding of the business and accounting processes. Your communication skills are exceptional, paving the way for clear and timely feedback to your team. • Demonstrated senior level accounting knowledge with proven review/informal leadership experience
• Motivated self-starter who performs well independently with minimal guidance and is comfortable with leveraging contracts, documentation, previous working papers, and their internal network to gain an understanding of the business and accounting processes
• Must be detail orientated to ensure accuracy of all revenue accounting and invoicing to internal and external customers
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear and timely feedback to the team
• A professional accounting designation, IFRS 15 experience and the ability to adapt effectively to changing priorities
• Working knowledge of SAP and midstream experience will be an asset
