The Onesource team is looking to add a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to a well-established global digital team. This position requires someone who is a passionate learner, an independent thinker, works well collaboratively across multiple disciples and is conformable working with a variety of people and technology stacks. This is a chance to get in and make an immediate impact transforming the way our customers interact with us digitally as we shape the next generation of an enterprise-wide Unified Experience. You will work closely with the product development teams building solutions critical to the digital experience. You will be responsible for application infrastructure and ensuring the design is architecturally clean, facilitating an ability scale and operate it with ease. You will help tighten feedback loops providing the ability to iterate quicker and improve the velocity of product development.About the Role:As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will:

  • Develop & Deploy – implement applications in AWS and other Data centers including solving problems and analyzing issues. Strong desire to introduce automation to replace manual operations.
  • Be a Team Player – work in a collaborative team-oriented environment, share information, value diverse ideas, interact with customer, partner with cross functional and remote teams
  • Be Curious & Innovative – continuously update yourself with next generation technology, development tools, and contribute to process development practices
  • Be an Agile Person – involved with the agile teams. Communicate on issues that may affect the deployment, identify process improvements & work with the scrum team to ensure product success.
  • Be an Effective Communicator – articulate technical issues, and share ideas, participate in peer discussions and solutions. Ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, management and business team members.
  • Take Ownership – for performance, reliability and improvement changes for improving efficiency of application infrastructure, scalability and operate with ease.

About YouYou’re a fit for the role of SRE – DevOps Engineer if you have:Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Related Field, or Equivalent Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in J2EE application support. ( e.g. JBOSS/ Weblogic/Tomcat)
  • Experience with Linux, shell scripting and system administration
  • AWS / Cloud infra working knowledge
  • Familiarity with Apache/ Nginx webservers.
  • Experience with configuration management technologies (e.g. Ansible, Puppet)
  • Experience with CI/CD technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Github Actions, AWS Code Pipeline)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code concepts
  • Desire introduces automation to replace manual operations
  • Knowledge in basic Networking, routing, redirection and DNS.
  • Work experience with MS ADO/ Service Now

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle administration & SQL queries
  • Experience with Apache, Python, JavaScript
  • Monitoring and logging experience using tools such as AppDynamics/DynaTrace, DataDog, Sumologic/Splunk, Pagerduty
  • Experience supporting production applications and environments
  • Docker and clustering services such as Kubernetes or AWS ECS
