You will work directly with leaders who believe in celebrating successes and sharing learnings with other teams to promote progress.The AML IT team is responsible for supporting and enhancing AML applications in support of our Financial Crime business partner use and RBC’s related reporting to our global regulatory bodies.What you will do:Set vision for SRE product base (monitoring, alerting, machine learning anomaly detection, self-healing, reliability testing)Lead code and non-functional (performance, security, maintainability, compliance, change management) reviews of all production bound SRE solutions.Drive transformation by continuously looking for ways to automate existing processes.Lead the team through execution of the SRE roadmap.Track, audit, monitor and implement on technical work streams.Support technology currency (server patching, certificate renewal, compliance, etc.) with keen eye on automating opportunitiesWhat do you need to succeed?
Must Have:Hands-on experience with a variety of SRE languages and tools (i.e., Ansible, Dynatrace, Moogsoft, PagerDuty)Advanced knowledge of the following SRE practices and technologies:Some experience in Python, YAML, Shell scripting, Azure, LinuxKubernetesNice To Have:Knowledge / Hands-on experience with Ansible Tower / Ansible Automation PlatformHands-on experience in Software Engineering (SDLC, Architecture, Design, Development),Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly traded corporationHands on experience with (ServiceNow, Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, Blue Prism, etc.)Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer)AWS certifications (e.g., Devops Engineer, Solution Architect, SysOps Administrator)Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.RBC is committed to supporting flexible work arrangements when and where available.
