Come join us at Autodesk!Autodesk’s User Management and Access group is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our diverse team of smart and driven engineers who are responsible for building the User Management and Access platform. Our platform is at the forefront of the company’s strategic investment and has tremendous visibility and impact across all of Autodesk. You will collaborate within a high performing Scrum team where the code and services you develop will have a direct, positive impact to the million users of our products.ResponsibilitiesBuild high quality, secure and reliable code following unit testing, test driven development, coding guidelines & security practicesDesign, code, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality and operational needsParticipate in code and document reviewsFollow agile principles and participate in ceremonies to estimate, plan, design, collaborate with peer engineers to complete stories and meet sprint goalsWork with team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficientlyContribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable and maintainable softwareSupport production deployment, operations and maintenance as part of the end to end platform ownership activitiesMinimum qualificationsExperience in delivering highly available, scalable cloud based distributed systems, microservices, and micro frontends in a production settingExtensive experience with the AWS platform and offerings such as serverless lambdas, SQS, SNSExperience working with databases (MySQL, DynamoDB) and optimizing queriesSkilled in Node.js or JavascriptExperience with full-stack and client-side testing frameworks like Jest, Catchpoint, Cypress, Storybook, SeleniumBasic knowledge of client-side technologies like React, HTML/HTML5, CSSExcellent technical problem solving skills and aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologiesExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentBS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experienceLearn MoreAbout Autodesk
