Job description: Job Description:Our client operating in Toronto, Ontario, is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer. This role involves building enterprise applications in a Cloud environment, specifically Azure, .NET Core, and JavaScript – React, Angular, Express. The position also requires experience in retail, e-commerce, consulting, or start-up environments.Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and optimize enterprise-level applications in a Cloud environment

• Employ a tech stack that includes Azure, .Net Core(ASP.Net, C#), Typescript, and JavaScript – React, Angular, Express

• Collaborate with teams to create software solutions for the retail and e-commerce sectors

• Leverage your skills in API Development, Typescript

• Adhere to Agile Scrum methodologies to ensure project timelines are met

• Utilize Atlassian Jira for project management and tracking

• Drive software engineering consulting tasks to meet client specifications

• Contribute to the dynamic start-up environment with innovative software solutions

• Continually review and maintain accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience

• A minimum of five years’ experience in a software engineering role.

• Proven experience with Atlassian Jira, Agile Scrum, and API Development.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Typescript, C# Sharp, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and React.

• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of software engineers and manage complex projects.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the hospitality industry is a plus.

• Willingness to continually update knowledge and skills in a rapidly evolving field.

Must be able to work in-office 3 to 5 days a week.

Expected salary: $100000 – 125000 per year
