Job description: Job Description:About the RoleHinge Health software engineers work on small interdisciplinary teams focused on different parts of the user journey. In this role within our Machine Learning Group, Computer Vision (CV) Engineers collaborate with research scientists, platform and app engineers, product groups, and data scientists to develop and ship efficient multi-platform libraries for internal and external applications and services, including TrueMotion CV-based motion tracking technologies serving our digital physiotherapy clinic.What You’ll AccomplishEvery day, you’ll work collaboratively with your teammates and neighbors to support our missionEvery sprint, you’ll ship meaningful work to expand or improve our CV pipeline, packages, or integrationsEvery month, you’ll share your domain expertise with your teammates and others in the organizationEvery quarter, you’ll identify, propose and execute a significant improvement to our implementation or innovative change to our workflow or toolingHinge Health Hybrid Model:We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week, Tuesday-Thursday.Basic Qualifications5+ years of non-internship full time professional software development experience3+ years of experience developing software with modern C++ (C++ 17 or 20)3+ years of experience developing software with Python3Experience shipping CV models and algorithms to production, leveraging tools such as TensorFlow and Keras, and model conversion and optimization toolsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical degreeExperience porting code between languages and productizing research level code in Python to performant C++ codeFamiliarity with our most commonly used libraries: Range-v3, OpenCV, TF Lite, BoostMobile application development experience, native iOS and AndroidExperience with image processing and video codecsAbout Hinge HealthHinge Health is moving people beyond pain by transforming the way it is treated and prevented.
