Location: Toronto, ON
Length of Assignment: Full time, Permanent
Salary: $80,000-$90,000/yearA successful candidate will have:

• Proven technical abilities in preparing Notice to Reader engagements, and corporate and personal income tax returns
• Extensive audit and Assurance experience, this role focuses on private companies
• Auditing and other related duties
• 3 or more years of Public Accounting experience
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines, which can be conflicting with one another;
• Experience working with Tax Prep, Caseware, Microsoft Office suite, QuickBooks and Simply Accounting;
• A logical and analytical mind with the skill to read and understand variances;
• An inclination for attention to details and accuracy;
• High ethical standards;

Skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in a related discipline with a CPA designation
• A minimum of 3 years relevant business experience as an accountant within a CPA firm
• A good knowledge of ASPE and CAS as well as experience with Caseware, Caseview, Taxprep/Profile, Quickbooks and Simply accounting
• Strong interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining effective working relationships both internally and externally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
