This is an exciting chance to work closely with clients and teammates in a collaborative and client-focused environment.While a CPA designation is not required, pursuit of your CPA is highly regarded-and will be supported.As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day accounting and financial operations. You’ll work across several areas and hone your expertise in general ledger management, financial statement preparation, accounts reconciliation, and tax return preparation for clients. · Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations.
· Assist in the preparation of income tax returns (individual and business).
· Perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
· Support clients with accounts payable and receivable processes.
· Compile and analyze financial reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
· Conduct audit assistance and maintain compliance with local and federal regulations.
· Collaborate with senior staff and management on special projects and process improvements.Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· 1-3 years’ experience in accounting (public accounting experience is a plus).
· Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
· Proficient in accounting software systems (QuickBooks, Caseware, etc.).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions.
· A proactive attitude with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
