Job Type: Permanent, full-timeOur client, a company that specializes in cloud-based file storage and document collaboration, fostering secure and seamless teamwork, is looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.
Your New Role:
In this role, you will lead our automated testing initiatives and establish test automation from the ground up. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and other QA professionals, to deliver high-quality testing solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation, a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, and a strong background in using Selenium for automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, ensuring they are effective in identifying defects and verifying functionality.
– Design and implement test automation frameworks and strategies.
– Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create test plans, ensuring seamless integration of testing activities into the development process.
– Analyze test results, identify defects and issues, and provide detailed feedback to the development team.
– Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
– Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and methodologies.
– Ensure test coverage and quality of the software applications by performing functional, regression, and integration testing.
– Mentor and guide junior team members in test automation best practices and techniques.
– Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and technologies.
– Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the QA team.
Key Requirements:
– At least 5 years of experience in test automation with a strong focus on Selenium.
– Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
– Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
– Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
– Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
– Knowledge of other test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, TestNG, JUnit) is a plus.
– Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
