Job description: Site Security MonitorDawson City, YTWildstone is a self-performing general contractor that provides a wide range of construction services across the Territories and Western Canada. We have been active in Dawson for the past 8 years and have completed projects such as the Tr’ondek Hwech’in Men’s Shelter, the Sawmill, and upgrades to the Robert Service School.At present, Wildstone is working on three exciting projects in Dawson: the Tr’ondek Hwech’in Elders Centre, the Yukon Housing 34-unit apartment building and the new Dawson Recreation Centre.We have an opportunity for a security and safety-conscious individual to join our site team as a Site Security Monitor in the Dawson City area. If you’re someone who will champion security and safeguard our site, this is the role for you.Responsibilities:

• Ensure the security of the construction site
• Monitor access points
• Ensure gates and doors are locked and all areas are secured
• Notify the Site Superintendent of any security breaches
• Provide occurrence, incident, and patrol reports
• Ensure equipment and materials are secure
• Regular foot patrols around the site

Requirements:

• Previous experience as security personnel on a construction site an asset
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
• Willingness to work both day and night shifts,
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors in inclement weather
