Job description: Position: Skilled LabourerProject Location: BHP Potash Mine, Jansen, SKProject Type: IndustrialShift: DaysSchedule: 14 days on 7 days offNo Travel AllowanceOnly saskatchewan residentsCamp ProvidedGC: GrahamAllied Partner: JCL Industrial ConstructorsReference number: 25248BHP’s Jansen Potash Project is located near Saskatoon, SK (approximately 140 kilometers East of Saskatoon) and BHP’s first and most advanced potash project and it will be the world’s largest potash mine once completed. Jansen will add diversity and a Canadian presence for Canadian companies supplying goods and services for this major economic development. Jansen Stage 1 is the first of four potential phases and includes an initial investment of CAD$7.5 billion. Once Jansen Stage 1 commences production in 2026, it will generate 4.35 megatons of potash every year.Jardeg is currently recruiting for Skilled Labourers at the BHP Jansen Potash Mine project.General labourer duties including:

  • Concrete experience
  • Jackhammmering
  • Bushammmering
  • Assisting concrete pours
  • Pouring experience
  • Backfilling
  • Dewatering
  • Running Compaction Equipment, etc.
  • Identify and report hazardous or unsafe areas
  • Identify necessary tools
  • Demonstrates understanding of hand signals
  • General housekeeping

Requirements:

  • CSTS-2020 / SCOT
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ground Disturbance 201
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test

Non-technical Requirements:

  • Willingness to learn
  • Positive attitude
  • Previous industrial experience
  • Concrete experience preferred but not required
