That’s where you come in!We are looking for a Software Development Engineer for our Central Technology team!What You’ll Do:

  • Expand our ability to develop and deliver the online services that power the Wizards of the Coast ecosystem of digital products and tools.
  • Build and integrate systems used to support digital gameplay for internal and external partners.
  • Create observable and verifiable systems with a high degree of testing.
  • Focus on the customer and design with their experience in mind.
  • Continually improve your skills, keep up with new technologies, and always raise the standard for what is possible on your team.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2+ years of software development experience.
  • Interest in working with highly available, scalable systems.
  • Experience writing microservices in Go or similar language.
  • Experience with at least one major public cloud, and understanding of the infrastructure for distributed applications (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with using a centralized monitoring system to monitor system health and diagnose system issues (e.g. Grafana, Splunk, SumoLogic, Datadog).
  • Experience developing against different kinds of datastores (e.g. relational, non-relational).

Compensation Range, Currency CAD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $73,834
  • Pay Range End: $122,698

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration.
  • Experience with building infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with integrating third-party vendor systems.
