Job description: DESCRIPTIONThe Release Manager (RM) team, part of Amazon’s BuilderWorks organization, is responsible for developing technologies that enable Amazon software application teams to dynamically change software configurations and behaviors safely and quickly with minimal operational disruption.Our software powers mission critical applications across Amazon including the retail website, order fulfillment, Alexa, Kindle, Amazon Video, Prime, Grocery, and others. As a SDE2, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and operations of the Release Manager service.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
– 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
– Experience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
