Join the Qlik AI Platform team to build next-generation AI services, enabling our customers to interact with their data more easily and naturally than ever before.We are looking for experienced back-end software engineers interested in:

• Collaborative Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the AI Platform supports diverse use cases, including predictive, generative, and classification scenarios.
• Build for scale: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and specialists, to ensure scalable and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Take ownership of critical AI-related micro-services powering Qlik’s AI investments.
• Design, develop, and deploy new features and improvements to our AI Platform micro-services architecture in the cloud
• Influence Qlik’s AI products, contributing to strategic AI investments.
• Find and evaluate modern technologies, to enhance the performance, maintainability, security, and reliability of our AI Platform.

Competencies and skills:

• The skills and qualifications needed for this role:
• Strong coding skills and a keen interest in technologies like Golang, Python, microservices, RESTful APIs, and modern database solutions such as MongoDB and Redis.
• Experience or a strong interest in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of software testing, performance benchmarking, and continuous integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub actions, Grafana, Kibana, Thanos, Prometheus).

Experience & Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years in similar roles.
• Experience building end-to-end systems as a Software Engineer.
• Experience with DevOps + MLOps activities such as model serving, monitoring, scaling, logging, cost management, and alerting · Experience using LLMs (Large Language Model) in real-world use cases, including prompt engineering and chain-of-thought prompting.
• Comfort with Linux/MacOS development environment.
• Familiarity with an ML/LLM Ops platform (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI, Lakehouse AI)
• Familiar with SQL programming and SQL / NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, ElasticSearch).

Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
