As an integral part of our R&D team, you’ll be at the forefront of developing new features in the AI space (UI for Assistants, chat, search and related menus and interactive UI), empowering organizations to interact with their data using Natural Language and gain insights into their business.What makes this role interesting?Design and Develop New Products: Be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining a suite of AI products (Assistants, Agents etc), actively influencing the future of interacting with data using Natural Language at Qlik.Collaborate Across Teams: Work with a diverse team of software engineers, and domain experts to create user-friendly solutions that address complex challenges.Exciting Projects: Dive into exciting projects, from building no-code rich data transformation UI’s to providing tools for customers to gain insights into their data.Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

  • Passionate Team Collaboration: Join a passionate development team focused on enabling our customers to get the most out of their data, engaging in challenging software development projects and next-generation technologies.
  • Collaborate with Product Design: Work closely with product design teams to design and deliver critical functionalities that support our evolving AI vision.
  • Evaluate New Technologies: Apply your expertise to identify and evaluate new technologies, ensuring the performance, maintainability, and reliability of our software systems.
  • Embrace Best Practices: Implement software engineering best practices, from CI/CD and automation to monitoring and security.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Build innovative User Interfaces using modern client technologies.
  • Prepare development plans for major feature deliveries.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other front end/back-end developers on features.
  • Provide PR reviews and mentorship to other junior developers.
  • Have end-to-end ownership of our features – you will be involved in design, development, testing and deploying to production cloud.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, with between 3-7 years of experience in similar roles, building production-quality software in large-scale data and distributed environments.
  • Experienced with React, Typescript, or any modern JS framework.
  • Strong proficiency with Typescript / JavaScript, HTML, CSS and API Design.
  • Strength in developing responsive front ends, design patterns with performance and scalability in mind.
  • Knowledgeable in containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) and Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
