If you’re passionate about building immersive digital entertainment, this is the role of a lifetime.The UFC team is looking for a Gameplay Engineer to help promote the innovation and excellence that defines the UFC game, someone who has experience building and improving gameplay experiences. You will work with a team of talented and passionate designers, software engineers and animators, and use our proprietary technologies to solve unique gameplay problems. You will report to the Technical Lead and Development Director.Your Responsibilities:

  • Design animation and gameplay features.
  • Contribute to industry-leading innovation in the animation domain.
  • Use industry experience to create unique and captivating gameplay experiences.
  • Increase gameplay features on CPU to hit frame rate targets.

Your Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of industry experience working in the Gameplay domain.
  • 2+ years of experience working with C++.
  • Excellent debugging experience using tools to help debug.
  • Work with internal and externally developed code in a collaborative fashion.
  • Experience with animation techniques and approaches is a bonus.
  • Understanding of memory management, multithreaded architectures, and runtime performance optimization is a bonus.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $96,400 – $133,900 CAN AnnuallyBase salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

Expected salary: $96400 – 133900 per year
