Job description: If you have strong general accounting experience and want to work with a global well-respected Manufacturing company, Robert Half has an opening for a Senior Accountant. Preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, preparing audits, and managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting are among the key responsibilities for this role. This position requires top-notch analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.How you will make an impact– Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes– Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary– Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions– Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives– Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations– Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required– Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP– Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.– CPA designation or finalist in the program– 3+ years of overall general accounting experience,– Well-rounded grasp of month end closings– Experience in public accounting along with industry is highly valued– Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement– Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment– Strong time management skills preferred– Comprehensive knowledge of account reconciliation– Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel– Journal entries experience– General ledger experience– Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines– Excellent verbal, written, and social skills– Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilitiesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
