Job description: Job Description:Our client in Calgary is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a contract role. You’ll support a lean, collaborative finance team during month-end close, reporting, and reconciliations.Key Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle accounting, journal entries, and month-end close
- Weekly, monthly & quarterly P& L and board reporting
- Bank/credit card reconciliations
- Assist with billing, AP, and partner pay
- Review payroll with HR
- Analyze variances, margins, and investigate anomalies
- Extract data from QuickBooks Online, build reports in Excel
- Ad-hoc duties a requested
Requirements:Requirements:
- 5+ years accounting experience
- Must be comfortable with QuickBooks Online
- Strong Excel skills (SUMIFs, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and self-driven
- Collaborative and adaptable – small team environment
- Available to start immediately
