Your expertise in software engineering will contribute to the success of our projects and help us deliver high-quality solutions to our customers.You will report directly to our Software Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our North Vancouver, BC location on a hybrid work schedule.In this role, you will impact the development of advanced software solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and safety in high-growth businesses. In particular, the Honeywell SmartLine series of transmitters and other devices which are used to optimize and control global industrial processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions. Your work will contribute to the success of our products and help us maintain our position as a leader in the industry.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced software solutions to address complex challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to software development best practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++
  • Industrial communication protocol experience – I2C, SPI, UART and high-level protocols
  • Embedded systems experience in milliwatt power environments
  • Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines
  • Use of source control tools like Git, BitBucket
  • Utility or test Software development on PC
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
