Job description: Senior Tax AnalystOur client is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join their Calgary team. The successful candidate will play a key role in U.S. tax provision, compliance, and transfer pricing activities, while supporting the execution of global tax strategies. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, publicly traded organization with global operations, providing exposure to complex tax matters and cross-functional collaboration.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Collaborate with external advisors to prepare US federal and state income tax returns.
• Prepare quarterly and annual US income tax provisions in accordance with IAS 12.
• Compile and analyze financial data to support US transfer pricing documentation.
• Advise internal stakeholders on the appropriate execution of intercompany transactions, ensuring alignment with internal transfer pricing policies.
• Monitor and assess the impact of legislative and regulatory developments on the organization.
• Support ad hoc tax projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Your strengths include:

• Bachelor’s degree and CPA
• 3 years of relevant US tax experience
• Strong technical knowledge of US federal and state income tax, with an understanding of cross-border and international tax matters.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical tax matters to senior management.
