The Role:Lead data-driven initiatives to optimize production equipment and processes; help mentor other engineers to ensure the production floor is moving smoothlyDesign and maintain mechanical drawings for tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment (Solidworks, CAD)Manage equipment development from RFQs and vendor coordination to on-site installationProvide technical guidance to Maintenance, Toolroom, and Production teamsConduct cost analysis and develop capital approval documentationEnsure adherence to health & safety, ergonomic, and environmental regulationsRepresent the department during customer visits and production reviewsContribute to new product launches, manage assembly lines, qualification processes, and engineering change managementMaintain a strong presence on the production floor to troubleshoot and drive improvementsWhat You Bring:A degree or diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (Canadian-recognized)P.Eng. or PMP designation preferred3-5 years of relevant experience in an automotive or manufacturing settingWorking knowledge of vibratory welding, injection/comolding, and plastics processingSkilled in CAD software (e.g., SOLIDWORKS, KeyCreator), GD&T, and technical documentationExcellent communication, organization, and report-writing abilitiesA proactive, collaborative, and hands-on mindsetFamiliarity with PFMEAs, time studies, capability assessments, and production reporting systemsWhy This Opportunity Stands Out:Join a high-impact role where your engineering insight drives performance and qualityBe part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team solving real production challengesWork with cutting-edge tooling and processes in a globally connected environmentContribute to a workplace that values safety, sustainability, and innovationReady to Engineer What’s Next?
