Contract Term: August 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025About the Role:SRA Staffing and Recruiting is seeking an experienced Project Manager on behalf of our client in the healthcare sector. The new Health Care Retention and Recruitment Office (HCRRO) is dedicated to enhancing the recruitment and retention of healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, paramedics, healthcare aides, and allied health professionals. Reporting to Health, Seniors, and Long-term Care, the HCRRO collaborates with Service Delivery Organizations (SDOs) and other government areas to address recruitment barriers, streamline processes, and implement modern strategies.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large, complex projects with a focus on budget creation, cost tracking, resource assignment, and interdependency management in healthcare.
- Manage projects incorporating organizational change management strategies using structured methodologies such as Prosci.
- Implement large transformational projects including organizational redesign.
- Plan and implement Public Health Surveillance and Monitoring systems on a provincial scale.
- Collaborate with Indigenous/First Nations leadership on projects to achieve common goals.
- Work on projects requiring collaboration with multiple government departments and reporting to government leadership.
- Engage with post-secondary educational facilities on relevant projects.
Qualifications:Education and Certification:
- Valid PMP Certification.
- Valid ProSci (ADKAR) Change Management Certification.
Experience:
- 10 years of experience as a Project Manager leading large, complex projects in the healthcare sector. Must include at least 3 examples totaling 10 years.
- 7 years of experience managing projects with organizational change management strategies using structured methodologies. Must include at least 2 examples totaling 7 years.
- 5 years of experience implementing large transformational projects including organizational redesign. Must include at least 2 examples totaling 5 years.
- 3 years of experience planning and implementing a Public Health Surveillance and Monitoring system on a provincial scale. Must include at least 1 example totaling 3 years.
- 3 years of experience working with Indigenous/First Nations leadership. Must include at least 1 example totaling 3 years.
- 1 year of experience collaborating with multiple government departments and reporting to government leadership. Must include at least 1 example totaling 1 year.
- 1 year of experience working on projects with post-secondary educational facilities. Must include at least 1 example totaling 1 year.
