• Support an engineering team with high visibility and direct impact on the company’s balance sheet.
• Establish team objectives and quarterly plans in alignment with business and organizational goals
• Work with stakeholders across the organization stakeholders across the organization such as Product, Program, Delivery to realize the vision of Internet of Value.
• Establish engineering processes and best practices to help the team thrive.
• Mentor engineers on team, recruit and hire engineers
• Support career growth and development of engineers by providing mentorship and coaching.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• 8+ years of hands-on Software Development experience building large scale distributed systems, out of which 4+ years in Java or similar (Golang, Scala etc.)
• 2+ years of people management experience managing 8 or more software development engineers
• Experience delivering complex enterprise grade software ( experience with transactional systems in finance or trading domains is a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Thrive on autonomy and responsibility.
• Track record of recruiting and mentoring world-class teams
