Learn more about the opportunities we create for students, employees, and our province at .The Student Accounts Representative primary role in the Office of the Registrar is to assist students (International and Domestic) and small third-party funders with inquiries related to tuition, fees and federal T2202 tax receipts.The Student Accounts Representative is a key member of the Bow Valley College Student Accounts team responsible for handling student accounts, ensuring accurate billing, fee collection, refunds, assisting students and third-party funders and the Student Association with financial inquiries and oversees the issuance of federal T2202 tax receipts.This role plays a crucial part in helping students understand their financial obligations and facilitating the payment process.Qualifications
- Diploma in related area (Administration/Finance/Accounting/Business)
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Understanding of accounting concepts
- An equivalent combination of education and or/experience may be considered
- Previous experience in a similar role in a post secondary education setting or financial services environment is preferred.
- Experience within a post-secondary environment
- Experience working with a student information system
- Understanding of ERP financial software
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with financial data accurately.
- Proficiency using MS computer applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team and handle sensitive financial information.
- Knowledge of financial aid programs and policies.
- Understanding and experience working with third party sponsors, Student Association and government funding

Expected salary: $47376 – 59676 per year
