Applicants are welcome to apply for these 12-month terms starting in January 2026.Note: The application deadline for this position is Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 11:59 PM MST.What you’ll doProcessing routine internal samples, as well as assisting with internal analysis by various types of lab instrumentation/methods which could include the following: Inductively Coupled Plasma, Gas Chromatography, Spectrophotometry, Auto-Titration, Densitometer, Viscometer, NMR, Ion Chromatography, Dean Stark Distillation and BS&WMaintain calibration, functionality, and supply levels of lab instruments and consumables.Document and chart daily Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for all equipment.Maintain accurate records and certificates for reference materials, instruments, standards, and products.Ensure compliance of test methods and reference standards with laboratory requirementsWho you areOur ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)Available to begin work in January 2026Strong verbal and written communication skillsCritical thinker and ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced, high-performing, team environmentFlexible to changing work demands and ability to prioritizeInnovative, with a strong desire to learn and the ability to encourage new ways of looking at problems, processes or solutionsDemonstrates collaboration by actively seeking out diverse people and organizations to collectively achieve business goalsExcellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Understanding of key safety principles and demonstrated safety leadershipWe acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.EducationMust be enrolled in a Chemical Laboratory Technology Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work termCandidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be consideredNew graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.Working ConditionsMay include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc.Safety SensitiveThis may be a safety-sensitive role, and you will also be required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during required work hours.
