Job description: Robertson is seeking a skilled Supervisor – Public Accounting to join our client. This role involves a main focus on Compilations , Our client is based in Markham and is hiring due to growth.Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements for a range of clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage the compilation process for various client accounts.
• Review and verify financial documents and statements for accuracy.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff members.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all compilation tasks.
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in financial records.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
• Participate in training and development activities for the team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA designation or in pursuit of designation is an asset.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting.
• Strong financial accounting skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Proficiency with common accounting software packages, with the ability to troubleshoot and train clients on software issues.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
