- Receive requests from operations supervision / management and set out daily work for survey crews
- Perform calculations from design plans and generate design files for survey crews to work with
- Provide support for all machine control on site including design / file creation
- Manage all survey data in conjunction with NACG filing structure
- Generate progress reports / drawings for multiple work scopes
- Perform drone flights / processing as required
- Attend daily meetings to ensure the survey department is supplying sufficient support to the field operation
- Ensure and enforce compliance to all company, client and legislated Safety policies and procedures.
- Review safe work plans/ hazard assessment with crew prior to job commencement
- Promote and ensure the FLRA process is conducted properly
Qualifications:What Makes You the ONE
- 4+ years of progressive experience in the survey industry
- Survey experience in the field of construction is required
- 1 or 2 year certificate or diploma in the field of surveying or geomatics
- Experience with GPS and conventional equipment (Trimble)
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with Trimble Business Center
- Ability to process GPS, conventional and drone data
- Strong understanding of civil drawings and how to create electronic data from these drawings
- Experience with volume calculations
- Transport Canada RPAS (Drone) Advanced License along with 25+ hours of flight experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft software package
- Mentor fellow workers and lead by example

- Undergo and successfully pass the following pre-employment testing:
