As a T2 Accounting Technician, you will prepare corporate tax returns, review financial statements, and provide outstanding accounting and tax advice to our members. Reporting to the Accounting Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring our members receive high-quality service tailored to their needs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your contributions will include:

• Preparing private corporate returns (T2) for farms and small businesses.
• Creating accurate financial statements and making necessary adjustments.
• Reviewing personal tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Preparing T-slips, including T5s, T4s, and T5013s.
• Identifying errors or inconsistencies in financial data.
• Collaborating with the Member Services Team to verify information.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience with T2 corporate tax preparation and financial statement preparation (preferred).
• Experience in CCH iFirm TaxPrep, Xero, and Microsoft Office.
