Bayshore Healthcare is also recognized as Canada’s Best Employers in Forbes 2023 list.The Manager, Talent Acquisition under the direction of the HR Director will be responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit and retain top talent and provide strategic leadership in all areas of recruitment for the Bayshore Healthcare – ICS Division. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of technology and exceptional leadership skills to manage and inspire a high performing team.
You will be responsible for supporting the division in achieving recruiting goals, establishing, and creating efficiencies, proactively monitoring the external environment, implementing new and emerging best practices and ensuring we continue to hire top talent.The Manager, Talent Acquisition reports directly to the HR Director . The Manager, Talent Acquisition also liaises with the Business Leaders and employees as appropriate.Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the business goals to attract and develop a pipeline of talented candidates for both regulated and unregulated health care professional and administrative roles.
- Build and maintain strong partnership and relationships with Leaders from multiple business units to better understand their staffing needs and effectively anticipate and fill the staffing needs of the division.
- Utilize advanced technology and data analytics to enhance the recruiting processes, analyze recruitment metrics and strategies to ensure achievement of quality of hire, time to fill and other relevant targets.
- Creating an effective recruitment strategies and pipelines to access top level talent, while delivering timely and effective customer service and support to internal Hiring Managers.
- In collaboration with HR Director, implement and deliver on tactics and goals identified in the recruitment plan.
- Lead and manage a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, Recruiters and Recruiter Administrator and provide guidance, mentorship and support.
- Collaborate with the EDIT team, ICS HR, and other departments to align recruiting efforts with company objectives of efficiency and simplification, increasing capacity and retention building internal capabilities.
- Responsible for overseeing the full recruitment life cycle inclusive of sourcing and interviewing to onboarding to ensure success management of the day-to-day operations of recruitment.
- Manage recruitment tools (LinkedIn, Taleo, job boards) and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and report of key recruitment metrics from ICS dashboard to measure success and identify areas of improvement. This includes evaluation of market research to ensure that we are effectively utilizing our recruitment resources.
- Participate on workforce planning teams and work to anticipate the hiring needs of each line of business and service and develop and effective recruitment plan to meet those needs.
- Represent and promote Bayshore’s brand and value proposition at external recruitment events in a positive and professional manner.
- Development of targeted sourcing strategies, interview, and selection processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Location : Bayshore HealthCare , 340 Ferrier Street, Unit 2, Markham, ON, L3R 2Z5Hybrid role , with a requirement to work onsite at least 2 days per week.QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Proven experience in Talent Acquisition with at least 10 years of recruitment management.
- Exceptional leadership and team management sills and abilities.
- Technologically savvy with experience using data analytics tools and recruitment software.
- Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), CHRP or equivalent or designation from the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPA).
- Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations related to employment standards and recruitment.
- Ability to work in a face-paced environment and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
- Excellent communication and presentations skills.
Experience
- Experience in leveraging new technology and emerging processes such as applicant tracking tools and social media, and self-scheduling applications.
- Experience using behavior-based interview techniques.
- Demonstrated good judgement, discretion, and sensitivity to confidentiality.
- This position is primarily remote/home based, but the selected candidate should have the ability to travel in for office days as scheduled and to community organizations, schools and career fairs for presentations as required.
