Job description: Description:As a Test Engineer, you will participate in the end to end system testing and validation of our repeater products. You will support the various functions in our Test Engineering Team to ensure that the product meets user requirements with high reliability and excellent quality. You will gain exposure to various testing methodologies & execution, building applications that range from desktop applications to real time embedded systems. This job would give you the opportunity to work hands-on RF systems that are being used by customers worldwide.ResponsibilitiesConvert existing manual test cases to MSI’s proprietary automated VISTa environment.Migration of Windows-based automated test cases to a Linux-based environmentPerform manual tests on radio products to validate the firmware and configuration application.Learn and pick up ATE (automated test equipment) support used in the production environmentImprovements, bug fixes, and new releases on the production ATE environmentLearn and pick up Power BI for production results analysis and subsequent production support.Utilize PowerBI to develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that visualize ATE and temperature chamber testing data.Conduct training sessions for stakeholders to enhance their understanding of PowerBI reports.Provide ongoing support and guidance on interpreting and utilizing PowerBI reports for strategic analysis.Train co-op student and interns:Provide training and support to co-op students to introduce them to the product, the box test team, and how the product operates with theProvide support to the box test team for changes made to the software configurator and firmware changes made by the software team and the firmware/DSP team.Participation in testing cycles, including collection and analysis of resultsParticipation in field and/or customer support activities as requiredAnalyzing requirements in order to identify and create test scenariosAnalysis and reporting of testing resultsSupport of effort estimates and/or work plans and schedulesInterfacing to custom hardware devices and controllersProduction SupportManage and support production issues and ongoing engineering changes using the JIRA ticketing system to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.Facilitate regular meetings and discussions with engineering, production, and operations teams to review ongoing issues and concerns and their impact on ship dates and overall productivity and prioritize tickets.Skills:Oscilloscope, Test equipment, ATE, radio frequency, spectrum analyzer, Labview, manual testing, network analyzer, power biAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Hardware testingMS OfficeGooglePaid Vacation + STAT holidays + Benefits through Manulife + Access to free upskilling courses through Udemy + Additional savings through PerkopolisÀ propos d’Actalent:Actalent est un chef de file mondial des services d’ingénierie et de sciences et des solutions de talents.
