Our total rewards package includes educational support, RRSP matching, health, and dental benefits through CLAC.Summary:Reporting to the Field Operations Director, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and orderly flow of traffic around our construction sites. As a Traffic Control Person, you will be responsible for managing traffic patterns and directing vehicles while ensuring the safety of our workers and the public. During downtimes, you may be required to perform general laboring tasks to support the crew. This role is employed through CLAC, and membership will be required once hired.Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce traffic control plans to maintain a safe organized traffic flow around the site.
- Place and maintain cones, barricades, and other traffic control devices as required by the traffic control plans.
- Monitor traffic conditions, adjust traffic control plans as needed, and respond promptly to any issues.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors about any changes or hazards.
- Provide information to drivers and pedestrians about detours, alternative routes, and safety precautions.
- Maintain accurate records of traffic control activities and report any incidents immediately.
- Work with construction crews, emergency services, and delivery personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Install and adjust warning or detour signs as necessary.
- Assist with general labour tasks as required.

Qualifications
- Valid Traffic Control Ticket required
- At least one (1) year of previous experience in flagging or traffic control.
- First Aid certification an asset
- Excellent observation and communication skills.
Expected salary: $25 – 28 per hour
