Job description: Job Description:Our client is looking to hire a Treasury Accountant who would be responsible for providing the financial leadership support to the organization. The role would entail managing the timely disbursement of funds and cash activity in accordance with established controls. As well, there would be a degree of Bank and Company related treasury reporting, as well as assisting in the preparation of the Company’s monthly Financial Statements in accordance with GAAP. Also, included would be to continuously improve the treasury and financial reporting processes by participating in corporate wide treasury initiatives.Responsibilities Include:· Maintaining and improving the cashflow forecasting model.· Maintaining and reconciling the cashflow model daily.· Report on material weekly cashflow variances.· Provide expertise and support for testing and implementing systems and/or process changes to increase efficiencies.· Prepare the monthly Bank Reporting.· Assist in creating and maintaining Treasury related dashboards and analysis.· Preparation of monthly lead schedules and account reconciliations.· Prepare and process corporate journal entries as required.Requirements:Requirements:· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business.· CPA enrolment would be an asset.· 4-5 years + related experience.· Some experience with cross functional teams.
Expected salary: $70000 – 80000 per year
