Job description: The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the preparation of HHSC’s bank reconciliations to support the confirmation of completeness of the financial statements as part of the year-end audit. The key focus of this role is ensuring that the organization’s accounting system includes the impact of all transactions that hit the organization’s bank accounts.Qualifications • Chartered Public Accountant (CPA) designation or CPA program enrollment is preferred

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting or business required
• Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Public Sector Accounting Standards
• 2+ years of professional accounting or audit experience
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and follow financial policies, procedures & processes
• Proven ability to work independently & collaboratively
• Knowledge of Meditech Financial systems an asset
• Proven ability to work within changing & tight timelines; ability to organize & establish priorities
• Previous hospital experience an asset
• Demonstrated advanced computer skills in Outlook, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
