AECOM’s Global Water Team is involved in high profile, industry leading infrastructure projects in the US and overseas, including a variety of significant projects for Local and National Governments, Water Authorities, and many other clients. We work on projects through all stages from feasibility through design, construction, operation, maintenance, and asset management.Some of the key responsibilities of the position are expected to include:
The Oakland Water Resources Engineering team brings together the skills of project managers, civil engineers, structural engineers, geotechnical engineers, numerical modelers, and a wide range of related disciplines. We provide our clients with technically innovative, integrated, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions, ranging from high profile infrastructure programs through locally significant projects that make a real difference to the communities we live in and serve. AECOM works to imagine a better solution and to deliver it.You will be joining a dynamic local Department of high performing engineers ranging in experience from apprentice to director level, as part of a larger Regional Water Resources Engineering team. Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
