As part of the finance team, we are looking for an individual with an eye to detail and has a passion for all things reporting. You will work closely with members of the finance team to ensure we are providing timely and accurate information to support the business.Role ResponsibilitiesAssist Revenue Assurance Lead to ensure timely and accurate revenue data on a monthly basisPrepare and post journal entries to the general ledgerPrepare account reconciliationsPrepare working papers that support account balances and investigate any issuesAssist with overall general ledger accuracy through monthly general ledger reviewAssist with preparation of monthly financials and other reports as requiredAnalyze, investigate and report on monthly variancesEssential Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field3-5 years of experience in a financial environment applying analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in the financial or IT sector would be considered an assetHigh proficiency in utilizing Workday, OneStream, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBIAbility to work with large sets of data to spot trends and anomalies, understand the details while being able to tell the big picture story.Work independently, with an attention to detail and ability to ensure quality and accuracy of output.Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines; remain calm under pressure and in the face of uncertainty.Must be proactive, resourceful, and demonstrate intellectual curiosity.Build strong working relationshipsWhat does success look like in this role?Business leaders can make decisions based on the information prepared by you as a member of the Finance TeamConsistently bringing new ideas and working on process improvementsOrganized and working cross functionally with other teams, able to multi-task and prioritize efficientlyWhat does growth look like in this role?Your knowledge and ability to work with peers will give you the opportunity to work cross-functionally within Verafin and explore new areas of the businessAfter the purchase of Verafin by Nasdaq in 2021, we are excited to announce as of Jan 1st, 2024, we have started to move toward becoming a fully integrated part of Nasdaq.
